Pretty sure I have killed some insects accidentally by walking over them or something. I try not to kill bees, butterflies, moths or other kind of insects that happen to fly into my apartment. I do my best to get them back outside unharmed.

accidentally killed a baby chick in Ragnarok Onlline does that count.

driving to work one day a raccoon ran out in front of my car nothing I could do as I was in the middle of turn in the road and risking my car/life to avoid a critter wasn't an option. still felt bad about it though.
