Since I have seen a new topic about wich weapon is better almost every week for a while now I decided to try make a thread wich would explain this.

First of all this is a list wich gives you a idea of what is best, you should always simulate it to make sure it fits for your current gear.

You pretty much want to have a Wrath of Unchaining + Vial of Shadows and just upgrade the ilvl of those.

Any idea why the heroic arbalest is better than the normal madness bow for MM?

Any idea why the heroic arbalest is better than the normal madness bow for MM?

Weapon damage is very important for MM since most of the shots scale with the weapon. Arbalest has higher damage than Vishanka normal and outweighs the proc since it doesn't scale with mastery like for Surv, this means Arbalest is better.

Vishanka N has 2817,5 weapon damage avg, Arbalest HC has 2907. The difference is pretty low since Arbalest is faster, but I guess it's still worth it for MM. In my calculations Arbalest HC was 50-100 dps higher, but still higher.
On that note, Vishanka HC has 3180,5 weapon damage avg.
