Mac PTR Client Crashes when opened

ok, so, I downloaded the PTR client tonight, after seeing the news that MoP stuff was on the PTR. I downloaded the entire thing, hit Play on the launcher, and then...

the screen fades in to black (full screen game), then fades back out, crashes, and i get the WoW-error thingie. What exactly IS the problem here?

My mac is on 10.6.8 OSX.

Can you post the error report or something? Also, I'm sure the official wow forums are better suited for something like this.

I'd love to post on the official WoW forums, but i'm not about to sift through 100 pages of "HERP A DERP YOU PLAY ON A MAC THATS WHY YOU CANT OPEN IT LOLOLOLOLOL" for a decent person to answer :P

Anyway, here's some select text from the error:
    Exception Raised!

    App: /Applications/World of Warcraft Beta/World of Warcraft.app
    Exception: NSInvalidArgumentException
    Error Code: 0x85100086
    Time: 2012-07-14 05.05.57 EDT

Error: -[GLLayerView setWantsBestResolutionOpenGLSurface:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x1c95bf0
    Crashed Thread: 0x00000207

Shizari, have you tried loading the 32-bit client instead of the 64-bit client? Open the WoW Launcher and go up to Options on the menu bar and click Preferences. Check the box next to "Launch 32-bit client".

If that doesn't work, I would suggest checking out the Mac Support section on the official WoW forums. There are many knowledgeable Mac users who post there regularly who might be able to help.

I've launched both, actually. Neither stays open.

And also, i thought you had to be subscribed to post on the forums?
