Which of the Nordic countries do you think is the best?

Hey everyone.

Well, basically, as the title says. I'm pretty sure any rational person, setting aside any national pride will realise that one of these countries is the best. Or simply that one of them is the best place to live in. Also, please no nation bashing.

From Sweden, voted for Finland, could have voted Denmark too. I like Sweden but the media is so far-left and the mainstream politics are so politically correct you just want to puke. Finland, Denmark and to a certain degree Norway's politics are better. Don't know a lot about Iceland...

To be fair I don't really know, I have never been to any of the other countries but I assume at least Sweden, Norway and Denmark are quite similar.

Though you should stay out of Denmark if you want to understand what people are saying

I voted Sweden as from these forums at least it seems to have the most patriotic citizens.. well except for Baracuda..

other than that I don't really know enough about any of them to make a real determination as to the differences.. looking at them through the scope of American politics.. they're all way too far to the left for my tastes.. but all of them are beautiful from a geological standpoint..

Finland. We have awesome, beautiful and unique language (unlike other nordic countries, im sorry but your language sounds like a mix of german and english. Pretty boring imho). One of the best education systems in the world, free healthcare.

Of course there are downsides on Finland too, finnish people are very antisocial, everyone minds their own business, no smalltalk and other stuff like that, if you ever talk to a stranger they look at you like you are some kind of freak also the suicide rates seem to be pretty high and most finnish people I've met have this mindset that we are inferior compared to swedes, norwegians and other nordics. I also find most finnish people to be very weak minded and they kinda bend over and asslick everyone. I also think finns are the hillbillies of nordics. The average finn is pretty stupid and stuck up.

BUT I fucking seriously love our language. Its beautiful and the awesome metal we produce overweighs the downsides imo. Nevertheless I love my country, If I could change a couple of things about our parliament Itd be perfect.

Also everyone knows that Sweden will have the most votes, as there are quite many swedes here on mmo champ.

I consider myself a patriot/nationalist and if you knew anything about Sweden you would know that means, by Swedish media logic, that I'm also a racist. No other Nordic country seems to have similiar problems so between them all I can't say Sweden is my favourite.

If youre referring to refugees from countries such as somalia, we have that here too. Everything and everyone is racist. Its a taboo to speak about problems there might be due to immigrants. Ive heard its pretty bad in sweden though, especially in Malmö.

But i think Iceland is the best place, and the only reason i am not moving there in a few years is because of a lack of language skills. And i don't consider it to be so much better than Norway that i would learn a 3rd language to move there.

And the reason i think it's best is because it's far away from the EU madness.

Nope, i didn't. I'm not a citizen of any of the 5 countries or these 3 areas but as far as i know they're just subjects of the countries and not countries themselves.
