    Is my computer any good?

Hello. I have little to no knowledge when it comes to computers. I have 2 questions I would like some answers to if it's alright.

    1. Is my computer any good when it comes to games? I know it's no super computer I just want to know if it's decent enough.

    2. Will my computer be able to run Battlefield 3?

    Computer specs:

    • Motherboard: MSI MS-7641
    • Processor: Amd FX 4100 quad core 3,6ghz 6mb L2 + 6mb L3 cashe 32nm
    • Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8gb 1600mhz
    • Video card: Ati Sapphire radeon 7750 1gb ddr5
    • Hard drive: 500 gb sata2 7200rpm (this isn't very good, I know)

Should definitely run BF3. Probebly at FullHD medium-high settings with 60fps aswell.

The above is false, excuse my epic fail to read the post correctly. See below.

It will play it, but not at 60fps. Could always reduce the graphics/screen resolution to improve fps.

Oh excuse me.. i am such a derp for reading that as a 7950.

No, you are indeed right. This video card is not going to run BF3 at 60fps. Yet should still run the game fine.

If you haven't bought that computer yet I would strongly suggest that you look for something with a better graphics card.

Thanks for the answers guys. Yes I have bought that computer, I've had it for a while. I can play WoW with most settings on ultra and I still maintain a good fps (50-60 fps with v-sync enabled and around 200 fps with v-sync disabled). This card is enough for me since I'm no super gamer. I only play when I'm really bored. If I can play BF3 without any fps lag with settings lowered down I'm happy with that

I was mainly wondering if it really sucked, like close to unplayable.

Should be Very playable on lowest settings, don't worry about that.

Don't you have the computer? You said you do so then how are you "wondering" if it really sucks?
It will play games on lowest settings to mid, what resolution are you playing at?

There is always a possebility to try any game before buying it.. atleast for the PC..

You know what i mean. But you also know i can't get more specific due to rule structure here.
