Jon Lord the keyboardist and co founder of rock and metal pioneers Deep Purple has passed away today, at age 71. A huge loss for the rock and metal music scene
Jon Lord co - wrote the legendary "Smoke on the water" and the sensational organ riff of "Child in Time"

He was Jesus on the keyboard, so fortunate I got to see him play on the last tour he did with Deep Purple several years ago, he still killed Highway Star and Child in Time.
