Hey I had a question someone in here can probably help me with. I wanted to take a quote from a thread, but that thread was locked a while ago. When I wanted to take a quote from something before I would hit "reply" then copy their name and all the strange html numbers and stuff needed to link it, but I obviously can't reply to a locked thread. Can anyone walk me through that? Is it even possible to take make a signature from a quote in a locked thread?

What you can do is just highlight and copy what they said and paste it into notepad, then find one of their posts in another thread, hit reply with quote, paste that into notepad then put their quote tags around what you wanted from the locked thread then stick that in your sig.

Hello btw. Dang I fell asleep at 4.20... Was up late.

I havent bothered with skyfall. It hasnt gotten any good resumés at all imo. And I watched no country for old men a long while ago, man I hated that movie. Plot was alright but the whole story of the movie was sooooo baaaaad.

It is saturday, yay. The poor suckers who failed first exam attempt are writing their second right now. They had to get up at like 6.30am ^_^ It is now 10.15am here.

The only issue with pOOs method is that it won't redirect to the correct post when people hit the arrow.

So it might be like this:

So if you want to avoid it linking to the wrong post you'd have to find the exact post number or code, which I don't know how to do! Or if you link me to the quote you want I might be able to actually, depending where it is. Or just type [Quote=Boubouille][ /Quote] without the space, for no random link.

pOO to the rescue! He linked me what I wanted for my sig. Every time I come across something someone says that really makes me laugh, I save the webpage as a favorite so I can make it my signature when I get tired of my old one.

I admit I'm incredibly hard to please and that most movies people rave over are "meh" to me. Skyfall just seemed really slow to me, and other than some great cinematography and a uniquely unhinged villain, it didn't really deliver on a lot of the Bond staples imo. I wanted to walk out personally, but I respect differing opinions.
