I still can't wrap my head around the release date. Everything (state of beta, HEROIC raid testing, now bnet) points at a release coming up "any day" by which I mean August easily, but there's still no announcement. And we pretty much know that they will take 2 months from the announcement to release which means late September at the earliest seeing it's already 17th. What the hell is the hold up...
You had something like 2 years and 4 months to get the mount.

The hold up are angry beta testers due to lack of face customization on female Panda.

Well, you must enjoy facets of pet battles if you could care less about it. Pokemon is an addictive and global phenomenon, and Blizzard knows it. Doesn't hurt them in any way to put in one of the most popular games into one of the most sought after formats. From what I could try on beta (when it wasn't bugged) it was pretty fun, but it's not something I would devote most of my time to...but I guess that's the point of it.

Perhaps it will be destroyed in the pre-expansion event rather than on the actual release date.

Not sure if you're the only one, but I am absolutely excited about it. In fact, to get prepared I've been playing Pokemon: Black on my DS! That, and I'm super excited to reroll my monk.

I think the phrase you're looking for is that you can't care less but yes, I agree with your sentiments. It does not excite me in the least. Though I am willing to try a few battles to see if it might change my mind, as a lot of other people do seem excited about them. But it's just not a selling point I'm concerned with.

PRO TIP: people stream because they enjoy attention. you don't stream for the viewers, you stream HOPING that you'll be noticed because of it lol

They changed the restrictions the last time I saw to only include the PVP mounts (Arena included) Class Mounts and Profession bound Mounts. Everything else is account wide.
