Titan could be WoW 2, Titan is just a the project name so, it's called Project Titan... so it could be aswell be WoW 2

while it is possible that blizz has been lying to us and project titan is wow 2 or related to wow its extremely unlikely wow is still the biggest subscription mmo in the world and has managed to mantain a majority of its numbers, i may be remembering wrong but im pretty sure when everquest 2 came out ALOT of everquest players did not stick around for it and stayed in everquest because they didnt like it as much as the original. which means either they would have to divide their player base for a new wow like mmo or completely get rid of wow one either way would be bad for business.

we dont know exactly what titan is but we know what blizz has told us, completely new ip unrelated to any other franchise, casual drop in drop out type gameplay, and possibly integration to facebook big emphasis on possibly other than that we dont know.

could blizz be pulling a trick on us? yes. is it likely? no

i'm more sure that it's not wow related than i am of my dick still being between my legs right now without looking. pages and pages of info, screenshots, even code were leaked by sites last year and were up for about 2 weeks before legal action by blizzard shut the site down completely.

google planetside 2, that's what titan is gonna be similar too, just far more "polished" and focused on generating profit above all else

Not necessarily wow related, I didn't see any of that info so I'll believe you. I just can't see them scrapping a $4billion formula that worked for the last 7 years to go to a 'pvp' based shooterish game that rarely last more than a few months.

I know people will now list tons of shooters that people still play, but for every one of those games, there are 500 that weren't profitable.

I'm saying I'm expecting an mmo, leaning towards fps playstyle, with magic and melee, dungeons and raids (although they might not call them that, or they won't be that in the traditional sense).

Don't get me wrong, I would like something totally new, an mmo based game but fps playstyle when in combat, but nobody has come even close to perfecting it yet :/

Though I would totally love an mmofps much like borderlands just in the form of an mmo i do believe it was just a rumor. I also heard that the makers of cod had signed on to the project, though again just a rumor.
