AP Bruiser list

Rumble, Vlad, Amumu, Moakai are top tier ap bruisers.
WW, Singed, Cho'gath a bit less top, but totally viable.

Ryze&Morg&Ahri are ap carry champs. They only become tanky because of items. If they were tanky/had sustain from lvl 1 they would be played top.

All of his abilities deal and scale with magic damage while he's innately and best build tanky. Isn't that the general definition of an AP bruiser?

Well he is tanky and he deals mostly magic damage, so by definition he is AP bruiser.

How does it matter? When you need an AP bruiser to your team you usually need a tanky player who can be "in there" and deal magic damage.

That's what came to mind when I seen AP bruiser.

For me as the OP of this thread I've always thought of Mordekaiser, Rumble, and Vlad to be the 3 best AP bruisers.

It's not whether he is AP bruiser or not ... it's the top 5 that he does not fit in. Rumble, Vlad, Maokai are head and shoulders above him, so is amumu you can build quite ap heavy. And then there is plenthora of still better ap bruisers/tanks ... Naut, Cho, Sing, WW etc.
