What is the budget for the new GPU?

    I would opt for http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814125412

Im running it right now on 850 on the core, and im playing BF3 on high settings smoothly enough for my taste (which is most likely 30-40, im not sure but im not seeing any lag issues regarding graphics )

It is a tiny bit better than the 6850, and about on par with a 6870 (not sure if that falls in the price range)

    edit:

Everyone posts to fast when looking for info xD But if you can get the money for a 6950, dont get that but get the new 7850

Both have pretty good reviews. I will note that the 430 myself has been fine on WoW. If your talking about 25m raiding, I will agree there. I get about 15 fps in zon'ozz dark phase with 25 people in there on med settings. The benchmarks on both are pretty close between the 6870 & 560. I think I'll go with 6870 for the lower price. The benchmarks seems to be fairly close so if I can save about 60$ doing so I think I can make it last for another 2-3 years.
The 6950 is not a good choice, 6870 on the other hand is a really good budget card. If you want to put more money on a GPU you should take a look at 7850/7870, Nvidia has no real competitor at that pricerange until GTX 660Ti and other medium performance cards in the 600 series are released.

The budget is approximately 125-200$. Thats what I usually have left over after bills are paid with each paycheck (every 2 weeks payday). So I can pull out almost 350$ if I need to but I don't feel comfortable pulling out that much unless I have some hard test results.

Yeah it does fall exactly into the same price range.

I would opt for either the 460 or 6870. And if you really want to stretch it the 7850.

Thanks for all the responses guys, I'm gonna need to head to bed though. If I have any more questions I'll definitely be asking them. Probably more so about the video card or if I forgot something about the installation of the computer.
