They said that Canada ran slower than GB ran in the semi-final when they screwed up with the baton exchanges - sounds like for the next few years we need to concentrate on getting the damn stick round the track! Do feel sorry for Canada though, has to suck to be DQ'd when it looked like you got a bronze medal.

That was actually an entertaining fight between Campbell & Niven, very competitive fight and exciting to watch.

Great game between USA - France in the women's basketball gold medal match. I have a feeling USA will go on a huge run soon and close the game.

    Anyone else watching it?

28 golds, and Daley + 2 boxing finals tomorrow? Great shot at hitting the unthinkable target of 30.

Daley already bitched about flash photography to get a mulligan, that could be bad!

US already has six more golds than they did in Beijing, but are currently 10 short of the total mark we had then. So I guess we're doing better?

Flash is banned in the arena, he nailed his redive after.

One dive to go and there's .15 between him and third. Don't count it just yet.

He's actually been diving amazing - good on the kid !

Would be wonderful to see him win - especially after the last year he's had!

*There's a reason flashes aren't allowed...anyone who's had to compete in a 'technical' sport knows the havoc they can cause when they go off at the wrong time!

I know flash photography is banned but should still be capable of performing with it, he needs the dive of his LIFE in the last round to polish this off or it could end in disaster given how tight it is - tighter than their budgie smugglers!

I think the dive of his life was that last one that pushed him into the finale. It's immensly difficult to concentrate when random lights suddenly flicker out of nowhere, it's possible to even be momentarily stunned by it. When you're plumetting vertical at that speed and trying to do somersaults at the same time, flash can be immensly risky.

Kinda worried that they're saying Daley's going with a lower tariff dive in the last round - especially when it's that close between the top and out of the medals, just hope he can nail this one.

Just turned on diving, what happened to that German guy?

Is it wrong that you want the rest of them to bellyflop from 10m?

The German took an injury in his second dive, he's done the rest of the contest injured.

Daley beaten at the end by a brilliant final dive with higher difficulty, can't ask for more from Tom though, these dives have been phenominal.

Woo and Boudia had a great dive.

This is China vs USA at the end, both had stunning last dives.

Sick last dive from Boudia. He deserves the gold.

2 point split between the top two. And those scores are all unbelievable, they'd win most contests each.

Wow, a diving final not won by a Chinese diver? Daley couldn't really have done much more than that to be honest - that American's dives looked immense.
