i've recently started to play browser based empire simulation games, genre Grepolis and Evony. i'm wondering, however, if and what browser based empire sims you play, and what you think is the best one.

Looking for such games as well. Anyone got any new/fresh browser based strategy game? Preferably with not too much micromanagement.

Anyway, if you don't already see where I'm going with this, allow me to spell it out: the only meaningful MMORPG "endgame" -- i.e., something novel to do after the progression process is over -- is that of the sandbox.

I'd have to say Evony is the most polished with best gameplay. But in Evony you will just get destroyed by paying players. Unless you know EXACTLY what to do and when to do it.

I'd prefer something that isn't too much pay2win and doesn't require me to be present 24/7. Something that will keep my empire in a good state even if I decide to go AFK for 2 days or so. Casual friendly.
