    Gigabyte 670

I have still atm the Amd 5850 and my question is, is it worth to buy the Gigabyte 670 oc?
I play WOW and GW2 soon and other games, like The Witcher 2 and so on.
    Also think about the future.

Yes the 670 is a fine card. Won one of those recently and gifted it to a friend he is perfectly happy with it.

Depends, what CPU do you currently have?

    ASUS PB298Q 4K | 2x QNIX QH2710 | CM Storm Rapid w/ Reds | Zowie AM | Schiit Stack w/ Sennheiser HD8/Antlion Modmic

    Armory

I am also curious about this since the two MMO's are more CPU dependent than they are GPU. Wouldn't want you to go spending the money on the 670 if the CPU isn't beefy enough to utilize it.

Your CPU is fine and you'll definite see benefits of the GTX 670.

    Performance comparison: 5850 vs 670

Oh man, prepare to enjoy The Witcher 2 BIG TIME. My 560 Ti can only really do medium~ settings at a fairly consistent 60fps, and it already looks bloody gorgeous!! A GTX 670 will likely be utterly amazing for it!!

I'm also looking into the same card - upgrading from a 550 Ti to a Gigabyte 670.

Will I be able to reap the benefits with my CPU?

    I've got a AMD Phenom II X6 1045T and a ASUS M5A97 EVO Mobo.

It'll do alright, but upping to either a Sandy or Ivy Bridge i5 (I suggest Ivy) would allow you to reap even more benefits.

Unfortunately it's an AM3+ socket on the Mobo so I can't really do that without upgrading that as well, which I don't really want to do as it's a relatively good mobo, and a decent CPU as well.

I've only got so much spare money. :P

Well, regardless of that, the 670 is a very good upgrade over the 550 Ti that I would still say take, for sure!

Glad to hear. And sorry for sort of hijacking this thread, but I thought it would be a good place to ask as it was about the same card.
