    Monks > No daggers?

    hello,

Just a small question: Aren't monks able to use daggers for dual wielding?
I read the guides and other info.... nowhere are daggers mentioned.

They can Dual wield swords, maces, fustweapons and axes.. but no daggers?
That sounds a little strange..... personally I don't see anyreason for them to not being able to use daggers.
    Anyone?
if so, i have to get other heirlooms-weapons for my upcoming monk.
What will be the good choice here?

    Thanks for your reply.

Well if it dont read daggers they cant use daggers. Dks can DW maces, axes and swords but not daggers. Not all classes are abel to use all wepons. Paladins cant eaither use daggers

    nope, no daggers for monks.

good choice for herilooms would be 1h maces because of the haste on them.

And get the agi maces or sword with agi. Or the new staff if it will be implanted in the Pre MoP patch

Oh great! The staff sounds great.

    Thanks guys.

personally I think daggers would fit monks better than maces or axes, but that is me.

Well if you think about it:
A dk with daggers? It doesn't look fitting; pala's neither.

But a martial artist? With maces?
Sure, they can wield almost anything... but daggers doesn't look unfitting.
    Better that axes and maces......

    just form the class-perspective :-)

Well lets face it Monks have been compared to rogues since day 1. Not using their trademark weapon is a good move in my view.

That said there are some monk axes and maces.

    Axe (Called the fu?)

    Chui A club like weapon.

You could also count tonfa and nunchaku as maces.

Traditional Chinese martial arts have incorporated various mace style weapons, as well as axes, whips, and hammers.

Daggers, not so much. Daggers are also already the iconic rogue weapons.
