If you are going to spend that much money I would suggest you save up a bit more and get a I5 3570K and a new motherboard. The 8150 is not worth $200.

What n0cturnal said here, you'd see a vast higher level of performance from the 3570K and enjoy it far more.

You do need to make sure your RAM is 1.5v and not 1.65v, as a lot of the older sticks were, Sandy and Ivy don't really like 1.65v RAM too much, as it can more quickly damage the IMC in the CPU.

What kind of motherboard would you suggest to go along with that processor?

While I was asking what motherboard I saw that one in the suggested and was thinking, "watch em just link this one", and by golly I was right.

Random question thrown in here but if you could somehow put a percentile difference between what I currently have and then if I got those 2 components, how much % wise better is it?

    http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/120?vs=288 The 3570k is about 5-10% better than a 2500k.
As you can see when it comes to WoW the performance is around 80% better.

We (most of us regulars) have a hard on atm for suggesting that ASRock mobo. I bet if ASRock knew how many folks we told to buy their mobos, they'd give us some gift cards or something.

Hey ASRock.... I sure would love to get one of your boards over my Asus P8P67 and be able to have SLI. =S
