You're right except for 2 things.
1. My name is spelt "God" not "Loucious-sama".

Search the mats that you need for example infinite dust. Go to wowhead and you can see which item DE into it and which has a higher chance if success.

Just to clarify you only actually get levels 1-50 from disenchanting but after that you have to enchant things to level up..
