Dwarf Fire Priest! - Please rate the transmog set.

    Hello people.

I've created a brand new transmog set for my Dwarf Priest and I was looking for some feedback/constructive criticism for it. I call it the "Dwarf Fire Priest" as Its primarily based around red, orange and fire.
The inspiration came from the headpiece (Circle of Flame). It dropped from Blackrock Depths when I was leveling an alt and I had to have it. It didnt go well with the set I was using at the time so I decided to make an entire new set based around it.

Here are a couple of screenshots:

The Items in the set are as follows

Head: Circle of Flame - Drops from Ambassador Flamelash in BRD. Goodish droprate, took me about 20 kills. Its an awesome fire crown with only 1 other item with the same modle and that's mail.

    Shoulders:
Mantle of Prophecy - Drops from Sulfuron Harbinger in Molten Core. Extremely easy to Solo, you just have to get lucky with the drop. It's nice and gold and it goes well with the bright colours.

Cloak: Wrathful Gladiator's Cloak of Ascendancy - A Pvp Item from the SW/Org vendors. They are many cloaks ingame with this model so i chose the first one I came across.

    Chest:
Scarlet Sin'dorei Robes - Drops from Keal'Thas Sunstrider from MgT HC. I love these robes, they are one of my favorates. Nice and red, just what I needed. I was very unlucky in the drop rate though, they took me a few week to get.

Tabbard: Tabbard of the Achiever - Available from the Twenty-Five Tabards achievement and goes well with the robe.

Braces: N/A - Who transmogs braces?!

Gloves: Starfire Gloves - Just a random green I picked up from the AH. They match the robe and don't cover up the sleeves. Very subtle and go well in my opinion.

Belt: Girdle of Prophecy - Drops from trash in Molten Core. It's also BoE so you might find it on the AH. Since its from the same set as the shoulders, it matches them and goes well with the brightness of the set.

Legs: N/A - Robes are awesome, no need to transmog leg pieces.

    Feet:
Extravagant Boots of Malice - These drop from Tavarok in Mana Tombs Heroic. Now these come from the T2 Warlock look-a-like set. They are red, however I think they are the weakest piece, they don't fully match. However I can't seem to find any better ones.

    Weapon:
Brutal Gladiator's Gavel - A very sexy mace in my opinion. It's the same model as Reign of Misery from Brutalus in Sunwell, however rather than being blue, this is red. Its also much easier to get as its just bought from the PvP vendors in SW/Org.

Off Hand: Heart of the Pit - Drops from Brutalus in Sunwell. Single-handedly the best looking Off hand in game. FACT! (subject to opinion) It's just fantastic.

I also changed the colour of my beared to orange/ginger to fully emphasise the "fire" inspiration.

That's the set. What do you think? do you like/dislike? can you think of any other items that might work better? If so, let me know. Thanks

This probably belongs in the Trasmogrification Mega Thread, a sticky in this forum.

That said-- I love the set, for the most part. I agree that the boots don't really match, I think they're too orange. Try the Valor-purchased Kavan's Forsaken Treads.

Personally, I dislike the offhand. I think it's far too large, and the green glow doesn't fit the rest of the set. I don't know if that's an inherent glow to the item, or a result of the +40 int enchant. I would personally prefer a book of some kind. I think the Dungeoneering Guide crafted by scribes would look better, or maybe the Flametongue Seal from the Shattrath JP vendor.

I think the Tabard's kind of moot, it's hidden almost completely by your beard and cloak. Again, it's kind of orange-y, though, I might go without it.

Looks cool, especially liking the head I remember having something like that on my hunter a while ago. GJ

    Realy?! thank you!

I'm still having issues finding a descent pair of shoes. The ones Daetur recomended don't fullt match. Anyone have any ideas for red/orange cloth boots that would go with the set?

Mmm. I've always been a keen supporter of having gnomes running around ablaze in panic. While this is not a gnome, it's close enough that it wins approval from me.

(Seriously though, nice set! This is how a dark dwarf priest would look like!)
    Non-discipline since 2006. Also: fails.
