MSI GeForce GTX560 TI TWIN FROZR II Vs 5870

MSI GeForce GTX560 TI TWIN FROZR II Vs the Radeon HD 5870.

Having such a hard time comparing those two cards together. As far i know the 5870 is Alot Older than the MSI 560 TI Twin Froozer II Version however Benchmarks Results have the 5870 Pulling better Fps than the 560 ti however i dont know if there is other version of the 560 ti out there?.

my question is which card is actually better?

They're equal for the most part, trading blows with each other back and forth. The 58xx line even though it's older, was abnormally strong for its generation, beating out the 6850 and 6870 respectively.

Regardless, if they're the same price I would go with the 560 ti. Newer, PhysX, adaptive v-sync and the Twin Frozr cooler will give you a lot of room to overclock.

thats because the 5870 was a high end card in the range, and in fact till the 5970 came along with 2 gpu`s on board, it was the fastest amd offered ; whereas the 6870 is a mid range card. Dare i say it , but theres <10% between the 5870 and a 7870.

Unless you have an urge to purchase today , then IMO i would wait for about a week and look at the GTX 660Ti which is due very very soon - rumour mill places it somewhere between GTX 570 and GTX 580 in performance for under $300
