IIFYM / IF (if it fits your macros) question/advice.

Just seeing if I am doing it right.

Here's a breakdown of what I'm going eat tomorrow on chest/bicep day.

(just posting the (c)alories since i have it all measured out already)

    Oats + Water + Almonds - 380c
    Banana - 100c
    Chicken - 450c
    Tuna - 300c
    Oil - 120c
    Strawberries - 125c
    Pineapple - 125c
    Kiwifruit - 50c
Bread / Peanut Butter - 450c ( might remove the PB and go with Vegemite which would make this about 120c less)
    Skinnycow Icecream - 80c
    Rice-crackers - 100c
    2 Strawberry Donuts (100grams) lolololol - 330c

    Total : 2,610c

I haven't been able to gain any weight (in-fact ive lost weight) eating at 2,400,2500 + calories per day even though im only 170cm tall and 70kg. So Ive upped it to 2600+ now. I've gone from easily over minimum 25%+ body fat to about 19% bodyfat (rough guesstimate) in the past 6 weeks since I started lifting.

How does this look for a IIFYM ? (note this isn't set in stone, I usually change it up and eat large salads in place of fruit calories)

If it fits your macros is Carbs, Proteins, Fat etc. Not just calories.

well im 151lbs atm, so 151 grams of protein

450c chicken / 90g protein (ive overestimated the cost of chicken, I just put all lean chicken/beef/salmon/steak at 150c since theyre all 110-140c per 100 grams)
    300c tuna / 75g protein

so thats 165g protein. got oil + pb there so my fats are fine, and clearly have enough carbs.

    ~150g protein / ?g carbs / ?g fats

IIFYM is all about the ratios between your macronutrients. What's the % breakdown of all your calories?

You should get 1.5-2g protein per lb of weight.
And fuck carbs, you dont need carbs.

Yes you need carbs....My god don't listen to him. Get some whole grain rice, sweet potatoes, whole wheat pasta, breads in there. If you are trying to gain muscle mass you need to be eating a ton more protein than 155 g, go for 1.5-2x your bodyweight atleast. It is going to get expensive but if you want results you will do it. Carbs are essential in any bulking phase.....
