Im going to lol if they just said they were going to make a project called titan and then they never do it, And the only reason to announce it was to laugh at these silly ass threads that keep poping up once a week speculating or complaining about the fact that no info is out yet.

Both of those videos are not titan, they are both benchmark demos, the first is Uniengine Heaven and the second is a nvidia stone golem one or something.

HA! You bumped a topic that had been inactive for about a week to tell us just how much you don't care.

Why cant people understand, this is what Blizzard does for over 10 years now?

Release game-->Announce next almost instantly, hide ANY info for a few years, everyone is hyped, doesnt matter what the game is, if you even played the prequel, you will play it, everyone talked about it.

It went this way with WC3 the day it was released, few days after, OH HI GUYS, EXPANSION NEXT YEAR, we were like.."Woot, expansion what, give now!".

Moment TFT was released, "We are making a MMO based on Warcraft story, we didnt tell you, already 2 years in development, cya in 2 years".

When WoW released "YEAH YOU KNOW BRO, WE WILL GIVE OUT MANY EXPANSIONS, STARCRAFT GHOST RECON (Canceled) and other stuff"

When TBC released "YO BRO'S RECON CANCELED, NO WORRIES STARCRAFT 2 INCOMING"

Repeat for Wotlk, announcing diablo etc etc etc.

They let "Titan" slip out a few years back, before they let their plans slip out, its all marketing, and it works off wonders, check D3 sales.

This IS their marketing strategy, they tease a few times saying they are working on a new mmo, its revolutionary, they got the best devs working on it etc...

Result? Millions of people know about Titan even though noone even knows what it is yet, people make topics about it on forums, etc. This is what you call a hype and from Blizzard's perspective what they are doing is brilliant, hyping a game that people not even know anything about yet, without a cent spent on advertisement for it.
