I can say that MoP is looking way better than Cata ever was. And if you have not been in the beta then how can you judge how good or bad it is till you have actually played it. MoP is shaping up to be one of the better expacs to come out in a long time.

Well that's your opinion that I am probably sure you will regret, and if you are not in the beta you won't know how good this expac is shaping up.
this will be only the 2nd blizzard product that i havent bought on the day it was released, well actually 3rd. i didnt get to buy wotlk on launch because i was overseas working.
i stopped playing wow a few months after cata and ive been following the game in hopes that there would be something interesting enough to bring me back, unfortunately all im seeing is more of the same. i dont have any interest in leveling a monk and the pet battles thing isnt my cup of tea. i dont think ive ever enjoyed dailies so removing the cap doesnt really do much for me.
about the only two things im interested in would be the pvp and the story. i have a hunch the pvp will be a tad imbalanced, because well its always been a mess frankly, and unfortunately i just cant see myself spending 55 bucks just for the story. i hate to sound like a negative nancy and i do hope that those looking forward to it have a great time.
ill continue following the game in hopes that the story does indeed turn out to be amazing and perhaps ill be a little more inclined to spend the money to experience firsthand
lol I feel sorry for you as you have no idea what it is like, to base your opinion of this expac on a dumb movie is so laughable it is sad, I guess you will never know will you..

Well as soon as I got paid I did the upgrade to MoP after playing around in beta I didn't have to think twice because I know how much potential this expac has..

Just have to wait a bit more you may be pleasantly surprised.

I'm not really sure. This might actually be the first expansion I'm going to skip. Not because of pandas or pokemon (don't like either but it's no game breaker for me) but simply from what I saw in beta it's simply more of the same. I couldn't even make myself level past level 86 because I was already bored with it. Furthermore the changes to my class are terrible, and PvP also looking to shape up to be a disaster again, and finally I've not really had fun in WoW since TBC so I'm going to sit this one out and recharge the batteries; raiding has burned me out. Perhaps I'll end up buying it anyway somewhere down the line, I won't say never but for now I'm giving this a pass.
Looking forward to anything it offers during leveling and endgame with the satisfaction of never requiring to set foot in DS again. I'm also not a panda hater (as of yet).
Yeah if you are burned out always good to take a break. I think cata in the end did this sort of thing to a lot of folks.

Urgh DS if there was one raid I didn't like after the 20th time it was this one. Even Firelands a tier lower was more fun than DS.
If you would of told me when they announced it that I would be looking forward to it I would of called you a liar. I was burnt out, completely done with the game after what we got with Cata. Had I not already had 10 level 80's Cata might have been a slightly better expansion, but with getting no use out of the new leveling content it didn't leave me much.
MoP has the looks of something different, while not totally different ( its still leveling and instances ) there is enough new stuff to look refreshing. I think it will help tremendously that we all get to bop around in a completely new area with a new art style.
I've gone from " heck no I'm not buying it " to " this may not be too bad ", mainly because I got away from it for a few months and I'm kinda ready to see what they do with it. ( I will say though that if this expansion turns out more like Cata, and less like the quality of previous versions, WoW may be in a whole lot of trouble )
Very exited about new content. New talents, aoe looting and account wide stuff. And possibly new character models later.
But most of all, I want to be a panda.
As someone who had written off WoW with the last Blizzcon, having actually popped in and looked at the detail that's gone into some of the most trivial things, I'm quite impressed. Don't have time to plug hours into this game like I used to, but I might just re-sub to give me something to do in my spare time. I'm actually pretty shocked at how much better it looks than I initially thought it would.
Not really. Maybe its because I haven't been subbed for wow by a year and haven't last played it last Dec when they were doing their free week of patch 4.3. Or because I am tired of the PVE and never really got into the PVP. So yeah... I'm just waiting for Gw2.
