How would you react if the internet got banned across the globe of all nations?

Well, yeah, like the title says, how would you react? Would you even react?
Would you protest against your government, walk the streets etc.?

I know that this topic seems a little bland, but I would like to see some comments anyhow.

Now, please try to imagine that this would happen, that NO internet at all whatsoever, would be an reality. I know that it is highly unlikely(more like impossible) that something like the internet would be banned or "destroyed", but please try to put your mind into it.

A reason why it would be banned could be the causes of national security, or even 'global security' - there could be alot of reasons why. There was no way that you could get hold of internet again.

In American I would LOL as people try to scramble to build the post office back to it's former glory after all the aptempts to destroy it because of it's current uselessness.

I lived for 13 years before "the Internet," I'm sure I could survive. I wouldn't be happy of course, and society would be royally fucked. I don't even know how I would do my job without the internet, email, Sametime, WebEx, intranet. I'm assuming that all that would be gone too.

On another note, I heard about some new TV show coming up where the entire world's power grid is destroyed, and the show picks up 10 years after that event. I'm looking forward to it.

Please reread topic again. NO internet would be available, Peer-to-Peer won't be available and nothing would be kept online - the word 'online' wouldn't have any purpose, other than teaching history from 1980-????.

I'm pretty sure, if that happened, all hell would be loose on earth. People would go mad, because well, one reason, porn. Sorry I had to do. xD Also, a lot of business would go down or suffer a lot because of this too probably, one more reason for hell lol

I would be pretty upset. While the Internet is intergrated into our society we can still go out in the world and still. It's just that being outside in the world eventually will get boring.
