DPS increase to dot both halves of Morchok?

On H Morchock, is it a dps increase to keep flameshock up on both targets?

Also, should I be using magma totem during Yorsh little adds?

    thanks.

I can't see you being able to be where you need to be while hitting the other target with 100% uptime on both flameshocks so it seems not worth it to me.

Generally, given the distance they're tanked apart and the proximity you need to be to your target for Stomps and gems, no. It would be, if you could DoT the other one without moving into range, but most cases, you'd have to spend time running out to reach, so it's not a gain.

I haven't done it since 20% but even then we had our groups stay close-ish in the middle with the halves on the outside. Dotters were close enough to hit both, healing is a joke (shaman/disc/rdruid), it took only slightly more coordination, and with the current buff could probably be 2 healed easily.

always a dps gain to have 2 flame shocks up over 1 as said its the positioning issue.

as for yor'sahj i basically use magma only after first wave of adds, i consider it a dps loss to keep changing the fire totem every 30 secs and would rather cast another lightning bolt/lvb, FS a blue mana orb etc etc rather than change to searing then back to magma when adds come.

It is a dps gain if you can manage it effectively, but the dps gain isnt really worth risking a missed stomp or gem which could be a potential wipe.

Unless you are good enough not to miss any stomps or gems.

That's why I love doing that fight as a destro lock. Put Bane of Havoc on one.
