PC Build - CPU Cooler Advice.

I'm back again, with a problem that I think warrants it's own thread.

So, I'm going into film production and I was planning on using my new PC as a system to do work on and play games. I'm going for 16gb of ram as well as an i7 to accommodate all my power/memory needs, but the problem I've run into is the CPU cooler. I've had my eye on the Arctic Freezer i30 (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=HS-041-AR) but one of the comments has mentioned that on standard ATX Mobo's it can cover 1 or 2 of the RAM slots. The Mobo I was planning on getting was the Asus Sabertooth with the Z77 chipset (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MB-512-AS) and my question, was that if anyone has used this motherboard with the i30 or similar sized cooler, are the RAM slots taken up? I'll be using at least two, and preferably all 4 since it's cheaper to buy the 4 sicks of 4GB rather than 2 of 8.

I've debated getting a cheap water cooling system that's easy to install like the Thermaltake Water 2.0 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Thermaltake-...873352&sr=8-80) but I just don't trust myself with water near a PC, no matter if the damn thing is marketed towards the clumsiest and ham-handed of folk like myself :P

If the liquid jobby is easy as they say then I may just go for that, since I've heard it does a plenty good job of cooling a 4.5k i7-3770k at least but otherwise, I need some advice on keeping my future baby cool whilst playing some graphically intensive games and video rendering.

    Thanks!

Pretty sure all, or if not then should be, PC coolant is non-conductive. As long as Helen Keller isn't doing the install, you should be safe.

If that not reassurance then I don't know what is, cheers :P

If you want to stick with air cooling, you could always go with a low profile set of RAM, such as this Corsair set.

Just putting it out there for you to consider!
