Dafuq... -.- I understand being afraid of spiders, heights, dark, etc... But clowns? Not so much.

I am deathly afraid of clowns.
Mine stems back from when it was my 5th birthday, my dad threw me a birthday party. His drunk friend gatecrashed it dressed as a clown with makeup that was smearing so it looked to me like his face was melting. He drank some more and then grabbed a knife and chased me around the flat thinking he was being funny. I locked myself in a cupboard and didnt come out for hours.
Clowns petrify me to this day, I cant look at them, I cant even here the circus theme. I dont see harmless childrens entertainer I see evil twisted being that wants me dead..

I used to be afraid of them, hell I was afraid of everything when I was little, then one day I said, "fuck that why do I have to fear them they should fear me and then on to now I make them fear me!!!! damn clowns I will slaughter you all and bath in your blood!!!!!!

except for one story written by Stephen King.. forgot the name right now
that one had a freaking clown that scared the shit out of me

i'm not afraid of clouns, i'm just annoyed by them. clowns are fine when they're doing stupid things with each other. but when they try to grab people out of the audience to add to the comedy, that's when i don't like them. Because, you know, nothing says humiliation like a clown making fun of you.
