Dont be TOO nice.. It has an anti-effect (couldnt find a better word).

I had this with girls back in the days, i was always too nice, and after a while they get bored of it and take advantage of you.

Being less nice is way better!

You can either have the satisfaction of helping another person, or you can stand your ground as a person and tell them to show some respect or find new friends. You have no reason to be upset over people like this, you can easily find people that are more worth your time.
