Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, a good portion of you will be playing MoP. Pokemon and Panda's aside, theres still some competition to be fulfilled from raiding/arena etc; or just plain out talking with friends online and just chilling.
Just accept it and move along, your opinions mean nothing to blizzard because as a business their number one goal is making as much money as possible before sh!t hits the fan.
So if a person wants to raid ... what game does he go to instead of WoW ? Rift is one alternative, but many don't like Rift visual style or some. TOR is no better than WoW when it comes to raiding. And what else is there ? For questing, non raiding, pvp sure ... TOR, TSW, GW2 among others are viable options. For raiding what else is available ?
Some rescue. No wonder you're called the Order of Whispers. Nobody would brag about this.
What have you become when even nightmares fear you ?
Play what you enjoy? I don't think there is one answer for everybody. If you feel WoW gives you enough value for your $15 a month, you shouldn't feel guilty for enjoying it. If you don't there are alternatives like Rift. I will say though that the developers work a lot harder to provide value to their subscribers than Blizzard does, but ultimately it comes down to what you enjoy.
No guilt ... just pointing out that for ppl to leave there has to be something they can go to. Ppl don't leave into void ... they move on to something else. I am missing the "else". The charts that were posted about eastern subscriptions show that WoW is not no1 MMORPG in east by a long shot. When eastern players don't like something about WoW they have plenty of highly popular options to switch to. Western players don't.

Above all else, try to remain calm on the forum - Must try and observe this rule more.
WoW addict from 2007-2013
Sorry for chopping your post down to one sentence, but this section really got me curious. On what ground do you "know" that GW2 is a flop so far? Are you aware that the game hasn't even launched yet? So far there have been some short stress tests, and three three-day open beta weekends, which were immensely popular ("hundreds of thousands", and open only to pre-orders and some press).
The game is fantastically fun and has amazing mechanics that actually SURPRISE you when you first encounter them. Jumping puzzles with multiple solutions was what got me, but there is so much more...
And
the
game
is
BEAUTIFUL
At any rate, calling GW2 a "flop" at this point in time is a bit premature. I think it will a great success in its own right, and WoW will continue on as it has been.![]()
the worldwide number may not reflect this, though. china isn't getting mop then, and they will presumably continue to bleed subs since they also got 4.3 in december. However, with only like 6 days of smeared sales in the q3 gaap number, it should be possible to sort this out to some degree, assuming they give some cod elite sub guidance as well.
Authors I have enjoyed enough to mention here: JRR Tolkein, Poul Anderson,Jack Vance, Glen Cook, Brian Stableford, MAR Barker, Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle, John Steakley, Joe Abercrombie, Robert Silverberg, the norse sagas, CJ Cherryh, PG Wodehouse, Clark Ashton Smith, Alastair Reynolds, Cordwainer Smith, LE Modesitt, L. Sprague de Camp & Fletcher Pratt, Agatha Christie, Steven Erikson & Ian Esslemont, Stephen R Donaldon, and recently Jack L Chalker.
I actually play League of Legends quite often and the community is terrible, that doesn't mean WoW's community is better because there's a monthly subscription
