Would be fun to get to visit the Redguard or the lizardpeople I can't remember the name of. And no I haven't played anything earlier than Oblivion.
Elswyr(?) or Black Marsh would be cool
This is my Sig, there are many like it, but this one is mine.
I hope they don't go for stand alone sequels but instead make expansions the same size as Skyrim. You know, same graphics and game play but located somewhere else with its own campaign.
Kind of like Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

well we haven't gotten a full size expansion yet for skyrim(dawnguard just a quest line) and they did say they wanted to make expansions feel really epic and big(i guess like tribunal but bigger) I mean tribunal was pretty damn big and frickin awesome quests and area would've loved to have been able to go outside though![]()
the MMO sounds cool but i hope they still make other games
i live by one motto! "lolwut?"
Screw Tamriel, I want to go to Akavir!
haven't heard anything new on these things yet but i remember when they were releasing skyrim they wanted bigger, better xpacs instead of short questlines that lasted like 6 hours. They wanted to aim for 30+ hours minimum each xpac(ofc their 30 hours is different than ours) but still ik that these ones are just dlcs and they're im sure hard at work on a big xpac
Don't care as long as it's single player, without any multiplayer crap (because it drains resources that could be otherwise spend on single player). Most likely it's going to be in one of new areas or maybe revisit one of first 3 games, since they're very old and very dated.
Black Marshes, I'd love some Lusty Argonian Maids....
ALL OF TAMRIEL!
To me, it seems the most likely candidate would be High Rock, and some of the major storylines are involving politics.

Actually, it wouldn't be impossible. In fact, Bethesda pretty much already did that in Daggerfall. But it required a lot of quick travel options due to the great distances, but it took play in several countries across the entire continent, so no, it is by no means impossible.
Okay, this is my prediction:
It's gonna' be Valenwood or The Sommerset Isles-or both (I don't see them doing all of Tamriel, but I can plausibly see them putting in multiple provinces). They set up the Aldmeri Dominion to be hated by players, they can't just ignore that now. I think it's safe to say it won't be The Black Marsh or Morrowind-the former is already set up as inhospitable to non-Argonians and the latter is virtually destroyed. Hammerfell and Cyrodiil redos are possibilities I suppose due to events there, but I doubt it. Which leaves Skyrim (which has been done waaaaaay too recently), Elsewyr (which someone already pointed out would be rather underwhelming due to mod depictions) and High Rock. High Rock could be thrown in with Hammerfell, I suppose, not unlike in Daggerfall, but then it would be sort of an attachment, not a main area-nothing's happening there!
The storyline I imagine will not mention the actual civil war in Skyrim since mentioning it beyond the beginning would implicate one side as the winner, thus alienating half their base (Go go Empire, woot woot woot!). It will have a bit of a delay from Skyrim-another decade or so? I think the Dragonborn could be claim to be the rightful emperor, which I think could be a lot of fun as long as you don't meet them or see them, obviously. The Dark Brotherhood will have just been said to be "lost" and inactive at the moment (which would render them unusable for 6). Later on, they can say it was either dormant or revived and nobody knows the truth. Other than that, it should be interesting, since my guess is that for anyone who doesn't play as a mer will have the odds stacked against them in some respects-the Aldmeri Dominion is, if nothing else, oppressive, xenophobic, and almost as racist as Sheogorath is mad. And of course, in the process, you take down the Aldmeri Dominion a notch, if not entirely. Perhaps kick them out of Valenwood, or something?
Oh, and if they put in multiplayer, I'm boycotting it. I love them to death, but no multiplayer. It's a waste of their resources to do online multiplayer, and co-op doesn't work-how could you have 2 Dragonborns, for example? It's not the same. Unless they make you a generic person, which is a move away from everything they've done-you are always a main figure.
Cyrodill and Summerset, re forge the Empire with a Dragonborn emperor, crush the dominion. As much as I want to see another Morrowind setting, this seems more likely.

I'd like to go back in time and be the catalyst of the dwarves disappearing. That might be entertaining.
