Keep dreaming. In reality it will be Skyrim 2.

The name TES doesn't ring a bell with the modern retarded "i'm such a nerd" culture. The only ever heard of Skyrim, therefore Bethesda decides to establish it as a standalone franchise. All previous lore is abandoned and declared non canone. Skyrim 2 recieves Metacritic score of 100 and wins the most prestigious award - VGA. Todd Howard becomes the CEO of Bethesda Game Studios.
That's why you need me.... Need someone to punish you for your sins.

And Daggerfall was ridden with bugs even back then, i shudder to think how bugged would entire game be with today's detail. We should deal with Summerset Isle (maybe start with Bosmer resistance movement?) and game after that should be set in Akavir, about time Empire stages another invasion.

One of the zones we haven't seen yet.

Valenwood, Summerset Isle, Elsweyr, Black Marsh

Given how much foreshadowing we have of the Thalmor in Skyrim I'd think its a fair bet we are going into their territory next.

It'll probably be Valenwood/Summerset and a conflict between the Aldmeri and humans.

Though I'd love to see the dwemer return and pwn some elves.

I just hope they don't end up making Elder Scrolls online to be like WoW to where they stop making the single player games like Blizzard stopped making the RTS's. I know they're different companies doing ES: online and the rest of the Elder Scrolls but it's a possibility that Bathesda might use this as a queue to continue with new or their other titles.

I'm hoping for the Aldmeri Dominion storyarc to be finished in a massive Skyrim DLC that might open up Summerset Isle too but I guess that's hoping for a lot. I just hope that it isn't forgotten about so I'd be fine with ES 6 being the conclusion of that plus further development.

If they do finish Aldmeri Dominion in Skyrim then I'd be happy to see a huge time skip into High Rock, Black Marsh or Elsweyr like they've done for all of the previous games and subsequent followups.

    somerset isles imo

skyrim is mostly about the thalmor who think they're a superior race to the rest of us, and how they're doing everything they can to bring about the destruction of tamriel so they can ascend to a higher plane of reality

Sorry, should've been clearer - I want to kill all elves, and the fact that some have eluded me by conveniently vanishing is just intolerable.

I'm hoping Elsweyr or Daggerfall, but I doubt it'd take place there. In fact, I don't really care where it takes place, as long as I get to be the person who overthrows the Aldmeri Dominion.

Technically, everything that isn't a Daedra or a god is an elf, right down to the smallest plants and animals and bacteria. The elves are anything born from the Aedra. All life on Nirn was born from the Aedra. The Aldmer that made this distinction didn't quite understand it at the time when they coined the term elf. They figured that only themselves and a few species that they knew were related to them were made by the Aedra. So they decided to call those beings elves. But under their definition, everything is an elf, because they didn't understand the history of the cosmos at that time.

Why hasn't anyone said Valenwood yet? I vote for Valenwood!

I really hope to see something like Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Uprising...depending on your choice in the civil war, unite with your allies and push the Thalmor out of Skyrim.

Allowing the war to rage on for a while still and then going to Summerset Isle sounds well and good to me for ES6.

I wish they would just release a game called 'The Elder Scrolls', starting with X area, and release expansions that add Daggerfall, Morrowind, Skyrim, etc to one game, eventually creating a massive world. NON-MMO.

Or hell, just use Skyrim as a base, and do the above. They would have to seriously improve on the leveling and scaling of mobs though.

I hoped that too but after thinking about it a bit, it's not such a good idea. I've only played Oblivion and Skyrim from the series and while the atmosphere and story and even the realism(people moving around and doing different things depending on time, not just sitting on one spot like in most games), open world etc. I still think they should at least hire at least one person who knows at least basics about balancing and do more beta tests and fix the horrible bugs these games have.

If they expand on Skyrim for example, I doubt they will make a new engine so we'd be stuck with annoying things like bucket over head stealing, the "it was probably nothing" thing when you shoot someone and they still have an arrow stuck in their head, all sorts of easy to use cheating loops etc.

They do learn however and in Skyrim, they actually did fix a lot of those things from Oblivion. For example making godspells that froze everything in place and such. So if they did just expand upon it and created new content instead of new games.. just thinking about accidentally uninstalling and reinstalling the game gives me shivers. I'm using at least 30 mods now that fix or at least mitigate the biggest problems. If it still had oblivion, and the first 3 Elder Scrolls parts as well, I'd probably have to spend a few days downloading and installing mods ..

OT: I'm pretty sure it's Summerset Isles or Valenwood, could be Hammerfell too but it's less likely. It won't be Black Marsh or Elsweyr most likely because it's hinted in Skyrim that the next game will be about the war with Thalmor and these places are, well, not really relevant. The most likely would be Cyrodiil or Summerset Isles in that case and since Cyrodiil was already done in Oblivion..

Summerset Isle but I'm just waiting on the game where we finally find the dwarves by either going back in time or finding a secret underground city. All I can really hope for is to not be dragonborn next time around. Somehow its less epic when you're supposed to be some god mode person instead of a normal person that becomes stronger and that I just kind of sort of hated shouts.

Yea so true. It fits a warrior nicely but if you play a thief the shouts don't really fit. To be honest, I don't even mind becoming a demi-god or something but it has to be near the end after lots and lots of hard feats and heroics:P

I'd love it if Elder Scrolls 6 had the option to turn down the leader position in important factions as well and maybe make it a little harder to get it in some cases. In Skyrim, it made sense with Thief guild more or less. After all you had to do a ton of jobs first, then restore the guild in every major city, save the guild etc. most of it requiring to have at least some skills as a thief. But with mages, it didn't make any sense at all. you could be a barbarian with a giant twohander, wearing pelts, stumble in there, have almost zero skill in all the magic schools and they make you the arch mage after a few quests and killing a power hungry Thalmor? None of those quests required you to do anything remotely magey. Just kill a bunch of things or fetch something.

I think it would be interesting to have the next expansion focus on the Khajiit and their home territory. People have been asking to play the different Khajiit breeds for a long time. And of course, all that Moon Sugar and Skooma. Perhaps through the course of the storyline, we end up becoming the "Mane". I'm not sure how well it would work considering you'd have all the other races in Tamriel to play as well. But it could make for an interesting story. After all, the nerevarine wasn't always a Dunmer.
