    [Movies] Movies with Amazing Soundtracks

Let's get this shit rolling people. Name the title, maybe the composer if you have it handy and a couple examples.

I'll take the low hanging fruit for starters.

    Last of the Mohicans
    Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman

"He started out as a little shit-spark off the old shit-flame,
then he turned into a shit-bonfire and then driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance
he turned into a raging shit firestorm."

Pretty much everything made by Hans Zimmer.
    One of my favorite soundtracks.

God this is an Awesome score. dont know who made it.

Movie was crap but the OST (well at least this song) was awesome!

Yeah, Hans Zimmer's definitely been doing it for as long as anyone and just as hard as anyone.

    The Rock

lets not worry about repeats either here folks, the idea is to get a good sample of composers across all films. While variety would be great, it's also nice to be able to say "hey I liked that movie and the music, maybe I'll try that one too!"

But i allways felt the songs sounds kinda identical. I dont mean the style but realy the songs itself like he knows that kind of melody is working so he uses it as often as possible. But well i guess if you like one of his tracks you like all. xD

btw i love the dark knight theme.

Clint Mansell is amazing. My personal favorite soundtrack is one he did for another Aronofsky film with the Kronos Quartet and Scottish post-rock group Mogwai, The Fountain.

I really liked Sucker Punch. I'm not sure if they are remakes just pulled from the abyss or if they were made just for the movie but they all sounded pretty awesome.

And I feel like the new Superman movie will be good too...whoever is doing that one.
