On beta I picked power infusion for the sole reason of giving it to others. 'Cause I wanted so. Wth >.<

Why must I grind both justice points and rep with a certain faction to acquire a blue piece that is worse than what I'm going to get by running the dungeons that I need to run to earn the justice points? I really don't see the point of removing helm enchants from rep vendors and the game is if we're still grinding all of the reputations to earn valor/justice point gear.

That's likely to change u know.

Would have been nice to have some tanking JP gear to fill in the gaps that I still have with early quest greens D:

Hope tanks get some more JP stuff than ring, neck and an cloak

And lose more subs? There's a reason why you aren't working at Blizzard.

Are rogues still in MoP? Havent seen rogue patch notes for ever. I dont play one but its just silly.

This is sooooo dumb, the JP gear is alot weaker than the gear from heroics. If buy a all JP gear i still have to grind heroics for better gear than that? I hope that you get 800JP per dungeon. So in essence you have to gear grind a hell of a lot more than before. MOP has just made the bottom of the "to buy" list.

Player name Chaz: Ret took it to the face this build. Was it 'doing more damage than intended?

    Blue: No, just you Chaz.

So Ret dps was basically nerfed just for the heck of it. They where not doing too much damage, no
they just got nerfed because the Devs cannot do a single build with out effing with em.

Just abolish the damn shadow orb system for Priests... it was pretty clunky, but manageable, in Cata... come MoP it's just a retarded change now...

The "daily" dailies consist of about 40 randomly picked daily quests from a pool of around 300. Every day gives you a different set of dailies, which I suppose is Blizzard's attempt at slowing the rate of burnout.

OT: I can't fully express how happy I am about the way rep grinds are going to work in MoP. Hopefully this will help kill off the pervasive alt-centric gameplay that Cataclysm's supreme lack of content created.

Haha... really? Every class gets a mention aside from rogues? This is beyond a joke now.

Seriously? Honored to even buy crappy 450-ilvl JP gear? Revered to even spend VP? So I'm going to have to grind it out on every alt I get to 90...

Yeah, people aren't gonna like this. I predict another 1 million subs lost.

Actually, if any one bothered to of checked, the gear from these NPCs are the same gear that already drop off the respective faction Quartermasters that require valor/jp. The only thing that these NPCs offer are a One Stop Shop, so you don't need to go traveling between each NPC faction to get gear when you have multiple pieces you need to purchase.

Also, it seems to fit more with the changes that have already been occurring with Valor in that 1) it no longer offers Tier and 2) really is just a "fill in the gap" method OR concurrently, a gear progression for NON-raiders.

Raiders/Challenge Mode people will instead be using Valor points to upgrade the iLevel on their gear that they got from raiding - which, btw, IS still be iterated on in the Beta.

So, I haven't played beta much, but I'm thinking that some of these factions should have you at honored just through leveling quests (correct me if I'm wrong), so getting the appropriate faction rep to be able to purchase JP gear should not be too time consuming. Getting to revered for VP gear might take a little longer, but the time it takes to get the valor to buy gear should give you plenty of time to get your targeted reps to revered without having to invest your life into dailies.

Question tho, are exalted rewards for factions mostly vanity stuff? If so, I just don't see the problem with the design. Pick the faction for the first VP piece you want, do dailies for it to revered, then once you're there, pick a second faction and do a few dailies for it a day til you're revered, etc. etc. etc. Won't be that much of a time sink.

People whining about how people can't see content sure is annoying. Just close the dam topic, these people aren't going to see any reasoning beyond their own of feeling like special snowflakes with special gear and that YOU shouldn't have the same thing as they do. Oh wait, you can have the same gear as them. You have to wait 2-3 patches later for it. You just can't have it now.

This is coming from someone who loves raiding, has hardcore raided and his guild considers themselves casual hardcore raiders who down the content quickly.

I've leveled my toons through Beta, after logging in this morning and checking, none of them are at honored. I know I wasn't able to turn in some quests due to NPC bugs, but as I'm seeing it, with just leveling alone, I'm lucky to be half way through friendly and am still neutral with a couple of factions. This is on my toons that I never ran through dungeons with while leveling. So all of my levels were received strictly through questing.

I am still at neutral with The August Celestials, which if you're an enchanter, you'll most likely want to pick up rep with this faction because they offer the bracer enchant recipes. Anyway, Each quest that I did this morning, only gave 150 rep per quest and then in the quest line, the rep wasn't for this faction, it was for another faction (could be a bug).

If you're a leatherworker, there are 3 different factions that you'll have to grind out in order to get each leg armor recipe.

Like some of my guildies pointed out in emails to me this morning, they won't be returning to WoW afterall if this is how it's going to play out. The few remaining players we had left all have full time jobs or college and only had time to raid a few nights a week after the 2 or 3 days they've taken off at launch in order to level to 90 and run some dungeons.

2 of my healers pointed out that in order for them to do dailies, they would have to rely on other players in the guild doing the same faction rep grind, because they don't have dps specs and when people weren't online in beta to help them quest, they really struggled questing because some of those mobs hit pretty darn hard and as a healer, they said it takes a little longer to kill mobs and it's frustrating to need to rely on others to help out.

So just using this as an example as it was given to me, lets say healers want that nice healing trinket from Shado Pen because a better trinket hasn't dropped. They are both enchanters and both of course would want to get the recipes from any faction vendor that offered them. So now, not only do they have to grind rep for the trinket from one faction, they also feel the need to grind rep with the other factions in order to get enchanting recipes they can use.

The dps we picked up to replace the 2 that weren't returning, have also let me and other officers know that they just don't have the time to grind out all this faction rep. They were taking 2 days off to hit 90, and were going to use the couple of hours each evening they had to run dungeons in order to get geared for raid. That's all the time they had, then when the raid was released the following week, they only had time to devote to our 3 nights of raiding.

So from those examples they gave me, I can understand why people might be pissed off about the need to grind more rep in order to be able to spend their VP or JP to fill gaps in their gear.
