If you're a leatherworker, there are 3 different factions that you'll have to grind out in order to get each leg armor recipe.

So from those examples they gave me, I can understand why people might be pissed off about the need to grind more rep in order to be able to spend their VP or JP to fill gaps in their gear.

Yeah I must admit this whole reputation grinding does look really bad (even more so for me since I'm an altoholic with many professions). Though it's still beta and things can still change for the better.
It probably won't be game breaking for me but I sure won't be happy with it. I'll have to be carefull not grinding rep on many alts at the same time or I'll burn out really fast (like I did with Molten Front dailies of which I keep awful memories).

Incomming mass of QQ from all the people who were not actually serious about server first (anyone who was either already had the levels ready just in case or planned to as soon as official word was given).

Personally, I'm just glad they finally gave a straight answer on it. I don' tcare about server first, but I also dont want to spend the first day or so of release redoing 1-80 for the hundreth time.

Hey let's remove head enchants from the game - we don't wanna force players to grind (1 per spec) specific reputation to get them...
Is this a joke? Why do they combine VP/JP Items and Reputation now? Revered with 4 factions is needed to trade my VP for all the epics that make sense for 1 spec? I don't think, that it'll be a problem for me, but after their statement about head enchants this is absolute nonsense.

When I get back to beta today I'll check these vendors, it's hard to believe that this reputation thing is true...

You don't really need those epics unless you have a gap to fill in your gear. Highest you should get is honored (recipes, except AC - revered), then everything else is just icing, as VP items are worse then raid items.
