Engineering mote/volatile air gatherer equivalent in MoP?

As can be inferred from the title, I am curious if anyone has seen on the beta an engineering item that is similar to the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor or Electrostatic Condenser that allow engineers to gather extra materials in the outside world. As of now my death knight (who exists solely to farm leather) also has engineering because of all the extra Volatile Airs I get from it. But if there is not a similar item in MoP I will drop Engineering for Inscription since it looks quite promising.

All I know is so far, the Motes are Bind on Pick Up. So having a farming character to get motes for another, isn't going to work.
