They are MMOs that let you play a costumizable character out of multiple classes and races, set in an explorable fantasy world where you battle creatures, go into instanced dungeons in groups and do a little PvP once in a while. And that's about it.

You know unlike SWTOR that had WoW written all over its licence from the very start, for instance.

OP, read the stickies, and one major rule (which I'm surprised isn't in the subforum rules sticky) is no game v game comparisons.

But I love the water combat and the maps are really well done some of the best in the MMO market. Of course this is just my opinion as I think WoW and it's many clones are some of the worse game designs that have been created in the history of MMO's, again just my point of view.

I think gw2's underwater combat is FAR FAR FAR superior to wows. Not sure how you can seriously call it horrible.

I might actually like Underwater combat in GW2. A little bit. Which is very rare.
