My Theory - The next Warchief will be...... Garrosh!

Yeah i know there are few different threads on theorycrafting the next warchief will be but this ones more specific.

I think Blizzards teasing us all, I think when we end up fighting Garrosh he'll be controlled by the "Sha of Anger" or "Sha of being a bad Warchief" or some other convenient thing.. or even All of them.

We'll beat him so that the Sha weakens and leaves him, and then kill it.. leaving Garrosh without his anger etc and to be a great new warchief for everyone.

I wouldn't put it past Blizzard to be that Schmultzy after the awful "thanks for saving the world. suprise! You're having a baby!" ending that Cata had.

didn't chris metzen say that garrosh would die in the siege of orgrimmar which would pretty much rule him out of being the war chief .also i believe it was said that garrosh reign as war chief would be short lived,personally im hoping for the troll guy to become leader of the horde

Yea at the Blizzcon he did say something about Garrosh dying and all. I wouldn't count on having him as the warcheif.

I also heard somewhere else that some people think Jaina Proudmore will be the next warcheif or something. Also not very likely but yea.

Im pretty sure that Thrall or That Troll Guy are going to be the candidates for warcheif.

Hey Harry Potter died, so did Buffy and.. well even Bucky. Just sayin, maybe they resucitate him after and he's all cured, or there are a substantial number of healers who can res hanging about, including thrall presumably.

I hope not. Not because I hate Garrosh, but because it would make little sense. I don't think us killing the Sha would lead Garrosh to all of a sudden become a good Warchief. It would basically change the entirety of Garrosh's character.

If we must go the route of Garrosh being controlled by a Sha, I would prefer it to go differently. After we free him, after some chit chat, Thrall would allow him to continue being Warchief. However, Garrosh would step down, and argue that he almost led his people into ruin, and that he isn't fit to be a Warchief. It would not only build his character, but allow Garrosh to lead his people in a different way, by being one of top Generals in the army.

When we finally take down the Burning Legion, Garrosh would be leading the armies of the Horde to get payback for what happened on Draenor.

Alternate timeline Garrosh. For this one his abandonment issues and living in the shadow of his father resulted in him cutting his wrists with Gorehowl and writing really bad poetry.

Do you realize how many things that man has said that has never come to fruition? It is far from bunk, things can and will change. Metzen can't even remember his own lore, ie: Draenei.

No worse than what happened with Gallywix...

Garrosh won't be the new warchief, it would just be poor story telling, which although isnt out of the question with WoW, I just dont see it happening. If it was the Sha, which I doubt (way to convienent), it couldnt have corrupted him until after the events of the Cataclysm, so he is still as hotheaded as always. Don't know if Garrosh will full out die, but I sure hope he does. He just isnt a very well written character and with the corruption angle comming in SoO it effectively ruins any positive character development he's had.

It's so sad but true...
I don't think there will be anything awesome about who the next warchief will be. It always felt like they didn't want to experiment with the ppl - trying something out of the ordinary.
