Question What is going on with rogues?

Checking MMO-Champion every day, I see alot of updates for almost all classes except rogues.
    Is there a reason why?
Someone on beta could do a brief comparasion on the play style from Cataclysm to MoP? Which is the new PvE spec, is it boring as current Combat is?

In PvE they all play out almost exactly the same as they do in cata. Only new ability really is Shadowblades that adds a little twist, but for the most part it's identical + easier.

Rogues are pretty similar, no huge changes, that's why you don't see much.

Going to move this to rogue forum though.

Once upon a time while proofreading, I discovered that I am terrible at English. If this post is edited, now you know why.

rogues are done since vanilla, actually rogues are the best class in balance terms. why change what is working? I know it's probably boring press the same buttons since vanilla, but hey, at least you don't need to relearn your class every xpac like warlocks and druids

we had one big continous update session when the new rogue talents were introduced which caused sort of an uproar in the community because we're left with mostly utility talents which arent fun for leveling. the talents you choose in MoP seem to have little impact on dps in raids but lot in terms of survivability.
after that the devs basically said "rogues are fine the way they are" and thats where they left us. I think the only things that changed after that were some tooltips...

On the one hand I am glad that they arent changing the core mechanics of the rogues too much on the other hand its kind of disappointing to never read about rogues in the blues anymore. I am in the beta right now and the gameflow feels pretty good when I play rogue, I cant speak for raids though as I intentionally havent tried them out.
