[Books] Books or Television, and porque?

So I REALLY used to love reading, I was a major bookworm. Not too long ago I got a new Acer Tablet and decided I'd break it in by buying an eBook version of Game of Thrones and was like, man, this book is ultra chill! And then I just kinda stopped reading it for a multitude of reasons, BUT, I started watching the TV show and was like dude EVEN MORE CHILL. So I feel almost guilty. Because in almost every regard, I think books are for more enjoyable than the telly, because I mean... you can just read it and create your own little universe and images and awesomeness in your head and there's room for... Imagination I guess. But there's just the ease and kinda nothavingtodoanythingness of television, and my lazy is overtaking me. Anywho, random self contemplation aside, which do you guys prefer? Sitting down to a good piece of fiction/nonfiction or slapping your booty down and relaxing in front of your favorite show. And why do you think either is more superior to the other?

I agree with you on the books vs television difference. personally I prefer TV just because 1) usually takes less time and 2) although many things are not as descriptive as in a book I enjoy action and often times action is hard to put into words.
