Don't know about US, but in EU AH activity gone down even worse. People don't even buy gold from RMAH, I was selling gold once BNet link with PayPal was unlocked for my country without problems. Now for over a week can't sell even gold. GAH is greatly slowed down as well - I can't sell half-decent items under 100k gold, and I see people putting way worse items (same stats, just lower) in millions and tens of millions.

I don't think patch 1.0.4 will help anything here. Only good thing out of this patch - is removal of Invulnerable Minions. I don't think new patch will bring more players into D3, changes must be made to the game cardinally (to loot system mostly), so people wouldn't feel like this is "Auction House: The Game" and not item-hunting game.
