Reply Box is Grayed Out

I replied to a few threads tonight no problem and then when I went to reply to one the reply box was all gray and I couldn't click in it. When I go advanced it is ok eventually after some refreshing. I had to refresh this page a few times before I was able to write this up. Any idea why this is happening?

Can you make sure that your browser is the latest version and clear the browser cache?

If that doesn't work, let me know what browser you're using and whether you're using any browser extensions (like noscript, adblock, etc.).

Started happening for me today, too. Windows 7, Chrome browser. Cleared my cache and it seemed to clear up, but it didn't really:

Got on tonight and noticed the grayed-out box. Saw it in multiple threads. One of them it was not grayed out and I was able to respond. Googled something like "mmo champion box grayed out" and found this thread. Tried the OP's suggestion of going to advanced page and refreshing -- no luck. Tried mod's suggestion of clearing cache. After that, the page came up with the box not grayed. So I went back to the normal thread page and it was gray again. Then went back to advanced page and it was gray again. Refreshing once or twice and the box was normal and I got to post this msg.

I have the same issue, updated my browsers (have IE9, Firefox, Chrome) Tried it on my desktop AND laptop, and the issue persists. Windows 7, comcast ISP

Thought I was infracted/banned at first but a quick(when I got it to be 'ungreyed') PMs and checking my infractions showed that I was neither.

I wonder if much more people have this issue but cannot actually post about it >.<

Same thing, I managed to post in this one but I have 4 other tabs open where the box is grayed out. Win 7 Firefox w/ no addons.

I was having this issue as well and clearing the cashe did not help. I updated Firefox as well and that didn't help. I was on two different computers in two different locations when I had this issue. Browser versions:

Firefox 14.0.1
IE8 8.0.6001.18702
Chrome 16.0.912.75
Aurora 16.0a2
Safari 5.1.7

No extensions or addons for any of them. What did seem to fix it for me was going to the general settings on mmo-c and changing the text box editor setting to the "Enhanced Editor" option.

I am having the same issue. Clearing my cache didn't help, but refreshing the browser seems to work after some random number of times. In the previous thread I was in I just had to refresh once. In this one I had to refresh like ten times before I could type in the box.

Also having this issue. Had to refresh 14 times to get it to work. Seems completely random. Clearing cache doesn't help. Using Firefox 14.0.1 on Win 7.

I'm having the same problem. This problem seems to affect ever page of MMOC for me.

- Cache cleared
- Zero extensions on Google Chrome
- Up to date version of Google Version

Problem persists.

This problem has been around for the last couple days, but it usually only affected only affected a small number of pages I visited.

Opening new windows and tabs is of no use; neither is refreshing or going advanced.

This problem isn't present on my phone. :/

In the top right corner try going to Settings > General Settings > Message Editor Interface. Change the setting to the Enhanced Option and see if that fixes it. It seems to be working for people atm.

Finally can type something,..Reply box is grey'd out for me as well on both Chrome and Firefox. Can't send private messages or anything and after about 5-8 refreshes it lets me reply. Plz fix!
