    Any good shampoo?

Since everyone here asks for all kind of advice in regard to computers, tv, books, gaming, work-related issues and even relationships. I figured there's no harm in asking about shampoo.

Over the years I've tried different shampoo, and finally i stumbled across this one:

It works great. My hair feels great, and girls dig it. There's one problem tho, it seem to cause dandruff. Nothing awful, but if i shake my hair hard enough, it is visible. Grrrr.... time to search for another brand.

    Any suggestions?

My hair is thick, almost like mexican, except i'm not mexican at all. It is naturally curly.

    Boycott Shampoo.
    Demand REAL poo.

OT: Since beginning to work overseas in lots of 3rd world countries, one of the only shampoos available was Head and Shoulders, so I, like everyone else, used it. I actually liked the results, and I've never had dandruff in my life, so I continue to use it and it does the job well.
'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
    All lookouts clapped on Paradise
All souls bound just contrarywise, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!

    Had me laugh so hard.

I usually use womens shampoo because just like you, my hair is very thick. But I also use wax because I dislike to have my hair in front of my eyes.

I use Tea Tree from the salon. I've found my hair is even more soft and seems to remain cleaner, longer. Scalp tingles, too, which is always nice.

It really doesn't, not for me anyway :P
    Still use it though lol...

Really, just get some cheap shampoo. They are all the same crap anyway for the most part.

Or if you have a girlfriend, then get her to buy you something that works. How many guys doesn't use their GF, mom's, sister's etc shampoo in secret ? :P

I have to admit. I chuckled. Quite loudly. In the middle of my otherwise quiet office.
    Busted

OP: Sorry I can't be much help - I normally just use a shampoo that smells pretty, or a henna shampoo.
Actually saying that, Body Shop banana shampoos and conditioners are really nice. Or coconut. Love coconut smelling hair.

I never know what kind of shampoo I need, so I just kind of pick something. I use Head and Shoulders sometimes for dandruff control, but other than that, I have no idea. For what it's worth, my forehead tends to be rather oily.

This actually made me laugh, never heard that one before

    On Topic:
I use the same Shampoo sometimes and also get dandruff sometimes...maybe this is why
I kinda use 3 different shampoo brands depending on which of the three is cheaper at the time.
The one I've got at the moment is Palmolive, seems all right.

Well, this is odd, Woody Paige used this same joke on his chalkboard on Around the Horn today. Do you write his jokes?

I use shampoos that are Sodium Lauryl Sulfate free. This is a detergent that can dry out your scalp. I use the Burts Bees Shampoo and Conditioners and I no longer have a ddry scalp, my hair is softer, and like you I no longer have dandruff.
