Low fps in wow all of a sudden.

I didnt play warcraft at all last week and the last time I did it ran fine. This week My fps spike and stay at a constant low, 28-20, when they are usually high.
Did I miss something in the 10 days I didnt play? The only change Ive made to my computer was installing The Sims 2. Im useing a i7 930, 6gb ddr3 and a gtx 460. I usually run wow on good setting, ultra hurts my eyes, and get 60+ in SW.

Might be overheating. That's what used to mess up my fps... check temps!

Try disabling all your addons; out-of-date addons can sometimes ruin your FPS.

Did you download any driver update or Windows update since? also as protput said, check your CPU, GPU and MB temps when your are playing to make sure your not overheating. Also is it a laptop or desktop computer. If it is a laptop make sure you have the battery set at max performance ad not battery saving or w/e. That will bottle neck your computer so much.

recently alot of people have been complaining about their wow lagging and its all been due to background downloader downloading the new patch.
