    Just a Small Glitch

I'm usually not one to ask for help, but I can't figure out what might be causing this glitch I have with the game and client.

It started probably 2-3 weeks ago, where the client would look like this: http://i.imgur.com/bKorC.jpg
I figured that it was just a glitch and would go away, yet it hasn't. Today on the 15th I finally got to play the game with the client looking as it is, and found that the glitch is a little more serious than I imagined: http://imgur.com/a/cyLlW#0

I was wondering if anyone might know the cause of this glitch, or has had the same problem in one form or the other. I've tried messing with the settings, updating drivers, and reinstalling the game. Perhaps I'm overreacting a bit, but I don't want this problem to persist into launch.

That looks like a hardware issue, your gpu is either dying or overheating.

If it was overheating, his computer would just shut off?

Haha, I hope it's not a hardware issue... my warranty just expired a week ago. :/
It hasn't happened to any other games I've played recently though, but my computer is prone to overheating. I usually have a cooling fan under it at all times.

If his cpu was, yes, gpus won't shut off the computer but will use various mechanisms to protect the gpu (underclocking/undervoltaging, disabling pipelines, etc) when it detects thermal issues. Sometimes it'll do a reset of the gpu.

Apparently I lied when I said it doesn't happen in other games...

I guess I posted in the wrong topic now lol... rhandric, perhaps you're right. I know little about hardware though, plus this is a laptop.
    Heh, this sucks. xD

^ We have a giant sticky just for those sort of problems.

    Thanks!
