Sha-Touched Weapons and the Legendary Gems....

So I got to thinking about this, for the classes that duel wield Rogues, Monks, Enhance Shamans, Warriors.... When we get 2 of these weapons, what do we do about the 2nd gem slot in them... Do they take regular gems as well as the legendary ones? Or only the legendary ones... And since the legendary ones are unique equipped, What do we put in the other one, Would as enhance, a rogue, and a monk use a strength gem, and a warrior use an agi one, if that is of course you are able to get 2 of them...

Beta is beta, so anything can change at any time, but currently the slot for the Sha-touched legendary "gem" is unique to that item.

not looking any of this up, so take this with a grain of salt, but:

~legendary gems are Unique (meaning you can't get more than one)
~therefore, the slot on the other weapon will be filled by a regular gem of that classes primary stat
ill probably be infracted for this post

Likely you will only get 1 gem at the end of the quest because Blizzard didn't want dual wielders to be OP.

yeah i think you can only get one "legendary" gem.

Hopefully the other socket can still be filled with another gem.

You won't be able to put anything but a legendary gem in them. The items are itemized around the sockets being empty.

It has to be balanced with the classes that can only wield one weapon. Which means it's designed around you only having a single of those sockets filled.

Even if the item is itemized around not needing to be socketed please don't spread information that you don't know to be true.

Slacker, just make a few calculations and you'll see that the itemvalue isn't balanced around the socket in its current state : P
So in before beta is beta, for the moment, it's true.

I don't know it to be true, but it's very very likely that you will not be able to put a normal gem in them.

For example, Gao-rei, before it became a sha-touched weapon, had a blue socket in it. When they converted it from a normal weapon to a sha-touched weapon in a recent build, the blue socket was replaced with a sha-touched socket, and the agility, expertise, and mastery on the item all increased.

This isn't Vanilla, TBC, or WotLK. Basically every single item since the beginning of cataclysm has had predictable budgeting based on it's item level.
