From what I've read, this is the last season of The Office that's on TV now, and at the end they plan to reveal who was behind filming the documentary all these years.
Nevertheless, I'd definitely watch the spinoff, because I love Dwight. Granted, most spinoffs turn out horribly, but this one I'm willing to give a chance because of the character being brought over.
