What are the current racials is im thinking to make a lock and want to know wich ally one is best dps wise

As far as I'm aware there won't be any significant changes to the racials in MoP, only small things like a nerf to orcs pets or things like that.

Not 100% sure tough, so don't quote me on this. :P

There was only 1 changed racial. Undead lost their Underwater Breathing and got a chance to deal extra damage and self-heal.

Pandaren will be the highest dps if you are a cook, other than that the 1% crit which worgen have is still nice.

for alliance worgen are the clear winner, they get to run fast and they get 1% crit as noted above. there really aren't any other options if you are looking to min/max. locks cant be pandas, THANK GOD.

Im intrested in screwing around with the undead racial ,but I dont think its really gonna be that benefitial unless you are trying to min-max to the fullest. I think ill stick with my orc :P

It's a strong racial but not so OP that DREAM Paragon will only run with Pandaren.


For PvE I'd say you'd want to go Worgen or Draenei (1% crit and hit respectively). PvP is Human all the way.

Well humans' Sword Specialization will give 1% expertise (exp=caster hit in MoP) while wearing Swords too, the trinket isn't too bad either and the reputation gain is nice.
But still worgen's 1% crit and sprint baseline will be trump I think, because caster swords won't be too common according to blue posts.

It's a good racial overall for pretty much any spec but far from best for everyone. Only comes on 3rd place for my fire mage with cata sims for example.
