    Level to enter Pandaria?

This is a basic question about Mists.

Are we going to be able to travel / quest in Pandaria at level 83? Or do we have to wait til 85?

The first two expansions allows us to go at 58 & 68 respectively, but Cata required 80 to begin the quests.
I really hope it's lvl 83 so my Monk doesn't have to suffer through the Uldum/Highlands experience again.

Im pretty sure the quests to go there required lvl 85. You can "skip" the Uldum/Highlands by doing dungeons and Archaeology while waiting on ques.

With the amount of HP and damage that mobs have on Pandaria on first zone, I wouldn't go there as level 83. I'd rather wait 2 more levels and move in at level 85.

since there will be lvl 85 starter gear that is of "decent" ilvl for fresh 85 players so they don't die in 3 hits or take 5min to kill 1 target... I am going to bet its lvl 85 only.

though, the gear could have no lvl requirement and be free quest rewards, idk. Not on beta

I've already planned to PVP through Outlands. So I guess I can handle that from 83 to 85. I hope they reduced the experience required.

With guild/BoA XP bonuses, you already need to only complete a small amount of Twilight Highlands' quests. If you run quite a few dungeons, probably none at all. With the XP required to level from 82 to 84 nerfed by 33%, and from 84 to 85 by 50%, you could probably skip Uldum altogether as well.

Though, I don't think it's those particular zones OP has problems with, he/she probably just wants to get out of everything old as soon as possible.

What about accepting a summon to Pandaria? I would really like to get my 80 priest to silk fields in Vo4W to farm Imperial Silk CDs.

And at 80 you will attract every mob that is close by and die before you even get off the CD for the Imperial silk unless you got a body escort with you.

It's possible, if you're smart, to get there without attracting anything. You'll need a summon to get to Pandaria and ideally a friend with a 2 person mount. After that, make sure you follow the road from HalfHill then skirt southish a little, you should be in the Silken Fields but with no mobs nearby.

It's no problem getting there ONCE I'm in Pandaria, I also had a 2 person mount in my mind. My main concern was if I can even GET out To Pandaria.

You can learn all of the trainer recipes in your capital city (SW, whatever). The only recipes in pandaria are the mob drops.

Nope. Lots of them are available only in the Jade Forest.

You get the quest only when you hit 85, not before that.
