    You can't see for 2 hours a day

    Just watched James May's Things you need to know, which was about the brain. Here's the clip.



    So when you do something stupid in wow, blame your brain


    For those who can't view the vid. Basically, to stop you getting motion sickness everytime your eyes move, your brain turns your eyes off for about 200ms

    It's about when your eyes move, your brain shuts them off for about 200 milliseconds. So, technically, for 2 hours a day you are blind.
    It's a British show, and since I'm guessing its part of an official company channel on Youtube, they only make it available for, well, Britain, since it is only aired in Britain

    No, you can see while blinking, it's the back of your eye lids. I think it has to do with the way the bain processes information. When a game displays 30 frames per second, you don't technically see anything new for the duration of the frame. I don't know what I am talking about, but if our brain processes images as frames, we really are not seeing what happens during the time each frame is up.
