Invalid Serial Code?!!??!?

Okay so i pre-purchased gw2 from Game Stop (don't ask I got a gift card as a present >.>) and i downloaded their stupid app and then i try to register on the gw2 site and it says they don't recognize the product key. Anybody else have the same problem? I already sent emails to both gamestop and gw2 support.
