That sparkle is sweetfx.

It makes the blades really shine.

Also, that color scheme + hair makes the Ascended Light shoulders actually look right. They looked bad on my Asuran Mes, but work in those pics.

I often enable SweetFX + 2560x1440 resolution (bigger than my monitor :P) for my screens.

I am way too lazy for that. Half the time I can't even be bothered to disable the UI. :P

They look pretty odd on males/charr/asura. Sadly. Because I really like the fluffyness of it.

Not completely sure on the colorsceme, but gladly that's dyeable :3

on a side note i updated my Guardian's weapons (4 Corrupted weapons: Sledgehammer, Avenger, Blade and Artifact) and color scheme (i had to get a second Zodiac Armor Set for a new build i am running though :/)

i love the transition of the frost effect on the weapons shown in pics 1 & 2, it's like the frost slowly encroaches on the blade. if i was not lazy i would make a gif to show it.

I prefer Asura, once you get used to their perceived run speed and the jumping and stuff, it's hard to feel fast with other races. I do like charr, though broad shoulders look odd when they're running on all fours.
